90 For 90 Years.

As we celebrate our 90th anniversary as a chapter, we’re setting an ambitious goal to secure 90 donations. I hope you will join me as one of them. Your contribution will directly support the essential maintenance and improvements needed to ensure the continued success of our chapter for the next 90 years. Please consider a monthly donation of $25 or a one-time gift of $100. Whether you choose to make a monthly donation or a one-time gift, every contribution helps us maintain the house for future generations. Together, we can make a lasting impact and preserve the legacy of Phi Kappa Theta for future generations.

Additionally, we marked another milestone this year: Art Heinricher’s 10th anniversary as our chapter advisor. To commemorate to occasion a dinner was held at Leo’s Ristorante in Worcester. It was an evening where brothers shared stories of our favorite as well as impactful moments with Art. It was moving to know everyone who attended had a story to share. Art’s dedication to the chapter has been unwavering, and we are we’re looking forward to 10 more years of his guidance.

At the end of the evening, He had these words to share:

Progress to our goal:

1/90 Brothers

Time left in the Campaign:

Dear fellow Alumni,

I hope this message finds you well and thriving. On behalf of the Aquinas Board, I’m excited to reconnect with you and share an update on our chapter’s progress over the past year. Our continued success would not be possible without the unwavering support of our alumni network, and this year, your generosity made a significant impact.

2025 marks the 90th year of Phi Kappa Theta’s life at WPI and we are still busy bringing brothers together through events and outreach. For WPI Homecoming we welcomed many brothers from the class of ‘65, ‘75 to ‘95 back down to 26 Institute Rd. to reunite with each other to catch up. Although some had already earlier in the summer at our Second Annual PKT Golf Tournament in the summer, which saw more than 50 alumni and undergraduates coming together on the green. We had brothers from as far away as Utah and as far back as the class of ‘73. We were thrilled to see the success of this event, and we cannot wait to host it again next year. Keep your second weekend of August available, and look out for details in the spring!

"Serving as faculty advisor for the past 10 years has been a wonderful gift! Every conversation with a KAP reminds me that KAP values are real and that we all get help on this journey. The brothers hold the 'Quo Vadis?' retreat every year – 'Where are you going?' All of us, current members and alumni, are on this journey, so maybe the retreat could be named 'Quo Vadimus?' – Where are WE going?"

Each year in This coming February, we will again invite you inviting you all back to the house to discuss the direction of the chapter and the role of the Aquinas Board. Last year’s attendees added their voices to conversations around the future needs of the house and how we can support the undergraduate chapter as alumni. We are We’re excited to provide another opportunity to share ideas and be part of developing goals for the board in years to come.

Input from our alumni network has been a driving force behind our major recent renovations to the William R. Grogan Chapter House. 20 years ago, the exterior was refurbished with the stonework; 10 years ago, we gave the second floor a major remodel, bringing a new polish to the brothers’ living space there. In 2022 we updated the kitchen to make it easier for brothers to gather and share meals together. Based on conversations between the chapter and alumni, our next target is the basement. A renovation to this much-loved space will breathe new life into chapter rituals and activities for coming generations of KAP.

Our biggest challenge currently is our beloved William R. Grogan Chapter House is showing signs of age. The roof is nearing the end of its lifespan, the boilers continue to struggle with the winter chill, and the basement ceiling is starting to cave in. Your contribution this year will go towards funding our much-needed repairs. Improving these areas is essential to preserving the house for future generations, and your support helps make it a reality.

Thank you for your continued support and for being an essential part of Phi Kappa Theta. I look forward to seeing you at one of our events in 2026.
